Paraffin therapy

Paraffin and ozokerite applications are heat applications with special mineral composition ozokerite. Ozokerite is a petroleum compound, comprises from paraffin, ceresin, methane, ethane, propylene, mineral oils, resins, hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide. Ozokerite reminds of bee wax and it has the same influence on human body as therapeutic muds do.
Treatment with ozokerite is well tolerated by the patients even if it has the temperature of 60-70°. It produces dissolution, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antispasmogenic effect.
